The James Bond star watched in disbelief as his beloved Reds threw away a two-goal lead.
Liverpool looked home and dry after goals from Sebastian Coates and Dirk Kuyt saw them lead 2-0 with just 13 minutes remaining.
But sub Jamie Mackie's injury-time winner completed a remarkable comeback that epitomised the Kop's Prem season and will give the Hoops hope for the rest of theirs.
Victory lifted the R's out of the bottom three on a night that will long be remembered in west London.
While Liverpool were left, once again, to rue a stack of missed chances.
You have to say, it is a good job that Kenny Dalglish is the manager. Were it any other boss in charge the red half of Merseyside would be calling for his head this morning.

This was not the first time Liverpool had chucked away a lead this season. In fact, they have almost been famous for it at Anfield in recent months.
There was no sign of it with a quarter of an hour to go as Liverpool looked comfortable at 2-0. But then Shaun Derry pulled one back with a 77th-minute header and the Reds' wheels started to come off.

Then with just four minutes left former Kop striker Djibril Cisse headed in Taye Taiwo's header to make it 2-2.
It was a sweet moment for Cisse, who claimed this week he still does not know the reason the club bombed him out in 2006.

A draw would have been bad enough for the visitors. But worse to follow as deep into added on time, the unthinkable happened as Mackie sprung the offside trap before steering his shot past Pepe Reina to send Loftus Road into ecstasy.
It completely validated his manager Mark Hughes' decision to send him on in place of ineffective skipper Joey Barton in the 62nd minute.

Barton left the pitch to the jeers of his own fans ringing in his ears. It will be interesting to read what he has to say about it on Twitter this morning.
Liverpool were making their first return to the capital since their Carling Cup success over Cardiff at Wembley last month.

And the visitors got off to a flyer, forcing TEN corners in the opening 18 minutes.
Luis Suarez looked most likely to break the deadlock but it was another Uruguayan — Coates — who netted with the kind of spectacular volley QPR boss Hughes was renowned for in his heyday.

The points looked set for Merseyside when Kuyt tapped in on 72 minutes.
It seemed nothing could stop the Kop but once again they managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
And as for their showbiz fan Craig — there was not even a Quantum of Solace.
